DuitNow AutoDebit

This service allows businesses to collect recurring payments based on consent given by customers.

With DuitNow AutoDebit, your customers are only required to provide a one-time consent that will allow you to collect payments on a recurring basis through their mobile, MyKad/passport, army/police, Business Registration or bank account number(s). DuitNow AutoDebit payments are to be collected from Current Account Savings Account (CASA), Line of Credit (LOC) Account and eWallet.

Who is it for?

Individuals

For Payments: Set up DuitNow AutoDebit by providing a one-time consent to billers or merchants for anything from coffee, utility bills to insurance or housing loan. Consent can be given through Mobile Banking/eWallet app or via merchant's site or app

Businesses

For Collections: Send a one-time consent request to customers for automated collections via customers' mobile, MyKad or Business Registration number.
For Payments: Similarly, you may set up AutoDebit by providing consent to your service providers

Government

For Collections: Collect payments for tax, assessment, and other collections by send a one-time consent request to customers for automated collections via individuals MyKad or Business Registration number

How Does It Work

One-off Consent

Businesses send a one-off consent request via their own channel (e.g., mobile app or website) to customers. At the same time, customers approve the consent request at their respective online banking or eWallet application.

AutoDebit

Businesses or Biller debit customer's account on a recurring basis according to consent provided by their customer.

Provide Consent

Customer initiates the service themselves by providing consent to merchants for DuitNow AutoDebit at the merchant's platform or their own online banking or eWallet application.
